Welcome to our Cook Island and Niuean Language Week.
Kia orāna and Fakaalofa lahi atu,
Welcome to Term 4.
Our class is now officially renamed Room 25. We will be stepping into a new classroom when we get back to school. How exciting!
What a busy week back to Term 4 celebrating and learning about two beautiful languages.
Our students have enjoyed all the new learning and fun activities during this week.
We are posting some of the work for you to have a tiny glimpse of the exciting happenings in Room 25.
Thank you to our lovely Miss. Siohane who was our very special guest during the week.
Miss Siohane visited our zoom meetings to teach us about the language spoken in Niue and the Cook islands. She taught us the greetings, some songs and most of all we loved listening to stories from Niue and the Cook Islands.
I hope she can visit us again.

Last , but not least was our focus on Responsibility
Responsibility is the value that we are focusing on for this term.
Here is what we came up with....
By Sharayah
Here are some ways to be responsible when at a zoom meeting.
This is so important during this time.
Thank you Ofeira
Adriana has shown us how to be responsible in all areas, at home, in class, on the road and on the playground.
.......and on that note of responsibility we end our post for Week 1- term 4. Look out for more news from us next week.
Kia ora Room 14, I'm glad you've managed to get back into learning with such an awesome range of activities. They look like a lot of fun. I especially like the geometry photos- they've given me a few ideas for my class to do as well! Keep up the great work!
Well done Room 25. I think you have summarised some very valuable examples of what is or is not being responsible. Reading through your page I have learnt quite a bit more about the Cook Islands and Niue. I really liked Adriana's examples of transformation, and can also see how many of you used it to show flip, slide and rotate in your Pasifika art too. Ka rawe
