Back to school

Back to school The day finally arrived. Yes, we are finally back to school. At least some of us. It has been great seeing each other in person and catching up with our friends and teachers. It was such a lovely feeling  hearing the first " Good morning Mrs. Southcombe". I just loved it! We are Masking up and doing our best keeping the social distance. Not an easy task , but we are the "New Windsor people" and understand that it is important to be responsible.  We know that we must keep safe, keep others safe and be kind to each other. We have expressed our true feelings in our writing: Remembering the 100 days of Lockdown.   Week 4-  Monday 8 November to Friday 12 November. Hi there everyone, We have had an amazing week of learning , creating and sharing. Each week is always full of plenty of fun and games with our classmates and teachers. We are now champions at zooming in and out of meetings, enjoying chatting, sharing screens and learning in our Breakout rooms. We have been learning and using a lot of our digital skills.   Week 3-  Monday 1 November to Friday 5th November. Hello everyone, We are back again to give you a peek into  our week of learning. The highlight of our week was the celebration of the Hindu Festival of Diwali. Rangoli Rangoli is an important part of the celebration of Diwali. This colourful, circular pattern is painted on the doorstep of most Hindu houses as a sign of welcome. The Rangoli pattern was great to link into  our learning  about symmetry in Geometry.
