Our Food Truck Project!
For Maths week, we were learning how to start-up a Food Truck business.
We began with a very informative presentation by Khalid (a valued parent and board member of NWS) who is a successful Food Truck owner. There was great interest in how Khalid started up his Food Truck business, and with that new knowledge and learning, we set off to create our own Food Truck. We are happy to share our work in progress with you.
This project was divided into 3 sections.
Start-up: Decision-making on what Food to sell, the Name of our Food Truck, and our Logo.
Menu: Brainstorming food items for the menu, a maximum of 10 items (although some groups wanted to sell more).
Food Truck: Design and create a three-dimensional Food Truck. There was intense concentration and focus while creating the 2D floor plan and the inside walls of the truck.
We still have a few more steps to go before our Food Trucks are finally completed.
WOW. What a super awesome activity to be apart of. It looks like you did so muchlearning in a fun way. How cool to be able to design your very own menues and to have a real food truck come and visit the school. Nice work room 14.
